Curtains/blinds cut out almost no light so we were woken up by bright daylight at 05.00. Bedroom door would not open fully due to a too-wide bedside table behind the door, so carrying cases into the room was difficult. The extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a tractor from the ussr - perhaps in part because its grille(ceiling) was almost blocked by dust and lint. Breakfast room was unlocked at 08.31 for breakfast between 08.30 and 09.00. Parking spaces for 7 cars (an eighth would block three cars from exiting) is far too few for the number of rooms available. Do the owners park their car(s) there?

Ros and Steve were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Comfortable room with lovely en-suite. Breakfast was good served by a cheerful and friendly waitress.

The staff were absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly without being over the top. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and our son loved the personal greeting he got from staff whenever he saw them. The location was within easy access to wherever we wanted to go and the hotel itself was to a very high standard whichever room you were in. We had a lovely holiday and could have stayed on longer. We would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to the area and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Scarborough.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were excellent - very friendly and welcoming. Our four year old was well catered for and enjoyed taking the left over breakfast toast to feed the birds in Peasolm park. Lovely clean room and excellent location. Would certainly recommend (already have!!)
